The timber is introduced in an airtight chamber where it undergoes an innovative process lasting between 35 and 120 hours, depending on its thickness.
The result is a novel wood product with significantly improved features.
In the initial stage, the wood is rapidly heated up to 100°C.
This is followed by drying to 3-4%
The third stage involves the application of steam, in order to avoid combustion of the wood, and the temperature in the chamber is raised to its maximum level (180-230ºC).
The wood is stabilised, restoring its moisture content.
In the final stage, the wood is allowed to cool down before taking it out of the chamber.
Treatment that improves the durability and stability of the wood without having to resort to chemical treatments, with which we ensure a totally ecological product.
