Termogenik® (the guarantee mark for our product) is thermally modified wood through a cycle in an inert atmosphere where high temperatures and different degrees of humidity alternate, until a variation in its structure is achieved.
This heat treatment has a permanent effect on the properties of the wood and provides excellent qualities, in addition to ensuring 100% ecological wood free of chemical additives.
Due to these improvements, Termogenik® wood can be used outdoors, an almost exclusive field to date for tropical woods and especially for other materials such as aluminum and PVC. The treatment gives the wood more toasted and darker tones, homogenizing the color and highlighting the natural grain of the wood. The color intensity can be modified with the application of different temperatures.

This is achieved by enhancing the wood’s inherent resistance to attacks from wood mould, insect larvae, termites and wood-boring sea creatures.
The instability of wood which has not been suitably treated for outdoor building applications causes it to warp, crack and even break. Termogenik® wood undergoes special thermal treatment resulting in an alteration of its chemical composition, a change in colour and a reduction in its equilibrium moisture, thereby enhancing its stability under changing weather conditions.
The wood, sourced from sustainable management certified forests, is not treated with any kind of chemical product.
